Sweet And Pungent Sauce/Hawaiian Sauce

This sauce can be added to tempura items,fried foods, broiled foods, chicken, pork or seafood, etc.

1 qt. chicken stock,
4 oz. fresh pineapple,
4 oz. green pepper,
2 1/2 c. white vinegar,
2& 2/3 c. granulated sugar,
2 T. minced ginger,
2 garlic cloves,
1/3 c. catsup,
2 T. soy sauce,
2 oz onion,
1 tsp. roasted sesame oil,
1 tsp. sea salt,
2 T. brown sugar.
Blend together 2 T. cornstarch or arrowroot with 2 T. cold chicken stock with your finger. Drizzle 1/2 the amount and wait till it simmers. If it coat the spoon, don't add any more. If too thin make more.
