How delicious basmati rice so aromatic. Cooked in seasoned milk soft and tender with crunchy nuts.

2 oz. black olives,
3 c. milk,
2 oz. shallots or onions,
4 garlic cloves,
1/2 tsp. cumin,
1/4 c. dried cranberries,
1/4 c. walnuts,
1/4 c. toasted almonds,
1/4 c. golden raisins,
1 tsp. cinnamon, 3 ea. bay leaves,
1 tsp. thyme,
2 c. rice,
2 tsp. sea salt,
1/3 c. scallions
1/2 tsp. black pepper
