Light and crispy fried calamari, non breaded, seasoned well as it should be. Follow this method and you have a higher quality product than do most of the establishments you frequent.

1 large egg
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp hot sauce
1/4 " slices of calamari about 3/4 c
