Braised Lamb Shanks

Watch how to braise the lamb until it falls off the bone.

10 stems fresh thyme,
1 c. loosely packed fresh basil,
4 oz. carrots,
10 oz. onion,
2 oz. celery,
4 ea. fresh mushrooms,
4 garlic cloves,
1&1/2 c. dry white wine or red.,
2 bay leaf,
2 T. tomato paste,
1 tsp. salt and pepper into braising liquid.


The braising of the lamb is 2 hrs. and 40 minutes.
