Crockpot Pulled Pork In A Bun

Start it when you go to bed and 8 hrs.
later with the setting on high the first step is done.
This 9 lb. bone in pork shoulder will give you 4 qts. of servable pork. Use it in a chafing dish served with mini buns, pickles, red onion. Freeze the qts. until you need them.
9 lb. pork shoulder with bone,
6 garlic cloves,
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar,
1/3 c. brandy/cognac,
1/2 c. light brown sugar,
3 T. sea salt,
2 T. sriracha hot chili sauce or your favorite hot sauce,
1 T. chili powder,
1/2 c. ketchup,
1&3/4 lb. onion,
1 T. cumin,
1/4 c. dijon mustard,
4 tsp. liquid smoke,
1 T. paprika,
1 c. water
