Hamburger Potato Soup

1 Lb. chopmeat,
1 lb.onion,
4 lb.carrots,
4 oz. celery,
1/3 c.yellow pepper,
2 qts. beef broth( no cubes ),
3/4 lb. fresh tomato,
1 lb. peeled potato,
3 bay leaf or 1/4 tsp. ground,
2 tsp. dry thyme,
2 tsp. pink salt,
1/2 tsp. black pepper,
2T. corn starch with 2 T. cold water (slurry),

Complete beef and potato meal in 30 minutes of cooking time, not gourmet style, fill me up style.
