Chicken Thighs With Garam Masala And Azafran

Some what of an Indian recipe.

4 bone in chicken thighs,
The rub consists of 1&1/2 tsp. salt,
1 tsp. smoked paprika,
1 tsp. garlic powder,
1 tsp. onion powder,
3/4 tsp. black pepper,
2 tsp. garam masala.,
For rice 1/2 c. mined onion with 0.4 grs azafran,
1/4 c. tomato puree,
1/4 c. celery,
shy 1/4 c. carrots,
1 c. brown rice soaked 10 hrs in tap water,
1 tsp. salt, 1 c. brown rice,
1 T. minced garlic. (Don't use that chopped garlic in a jar.)
