Saute Veggies With No Shrinkage

This is only a technique. By doing this you avoid the shrinkage which always happens when cooking anything for more than 10 minutes.

1 tsp. salt in 1 qt. water,
1/4 c. diced onions,
1 tsp. minced garlic,
1 T. butter,
1/2 tsp. salt,
1/4 tsp. black pepper.
