The Best Pinto Beans

Pinto beans with vegetables

1 lb. pinto beans,
6 oz. onions,
3 oz. celery,
2 oz. green pepper,
6 sprigs fresh thyme,
2 bay leaves,
3 T. olive oil,
2 tsp. sea salt,
1 tsp. black pepper.
2 T. chopped garlic

The video shows red pepper but I use green, more flavor for me. Use whatever herbs you like or none at all. When using stock never use cubes or powder.
